Humility unto Mercy

"But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world." Galatians 6:14 .


Humility is  the  opposite of pride  and arrogance  and it  is the quality of having a low opinion of one's  importance; it is self-effacement , servility, deference and submissiveness.
God requires us  to be humble to Him and to our fellow men and He honours and elevates the  humble.
However ,  humility  to the point of  inferiority complex , foolishness; or  unwillingness to assert  self and one's opinions  when it  is necessary to do  ; is not humility.
 Adopting   a lethargic approach  to  making efforts to achieve anything  in Life ; is unacceptable as  it is self-defeatist.
" And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of  the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight ".
Numbers 13:33.
"And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night ".Numbers 14:1
When  you are the one who is expected to be "humble" and  accept the crumbs  and  left-overs  by  other persons , even by those on the same level with you; then you should  not  think it is "humility "  to accept such a situation. 
 It is  pseudo " humility " to allow  any one  to  impose on you any form of Godless authority which  is contrary  to the Word of God. 
Also , it is not "humility" to allow anyone , however highly placed ,  to despise  the anointing of God upon you  , or  to attempt to  prevent you from functioning in  your God-ordained ministry  to the glory of God.
"And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority? " Matthew 21 : 23.

It is the will of God that His glory manifest in human lives.
Qualifications for receiving God's glory  are not based on the efforts and achievements of any man  but on Faith in Jesus Christ.

The glory of God which He bestows on every believer in Jesus Christ does not wither , but endures forever . 
Humility is the Key  to pleasing God and receiving  glory from Him.
Pride and  Spiritual Ignorance  must  be purged  from the heart before Humility can  reign in the hearts of human beings  who have chosen  to live  lifestyles of  defiance and  of rebellion against God and his Word .

The heart  , or the mind and soul of a human being  is where the issues of  life are formed .

It is where decisions are made and where the Root Causes of  Spiritual problems  such as the Rebellion against God , Pride of Life , Ignorance and Hypocrisy are based.
Humility is imperative before the human heart can  be ready  to accept the Gospel.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

" Do they not err who devise evil and wander from the way of life? 

But loving-kindness and mercy, loyalty and faithfulness, shall be to those who devise good ".  Proverbs 14:22.
Humility and honesty are the key attributes needed by the guilty to hold up his hand , publicly,  to  accept responsibility for his offences and to ask for forgiveness and for help.

Humble yourself  before God. Cease from denying that you have done something  wrong .

You know your ways, you know the stuff  you have been doing and saying in secret , which are  offensive to God .

 It is your responsibility  to take steps towards getting  the Solution to your problems.
