Humility is the opposite of pride and arrogance and it is the quality of having a low opinion of one's importance; it is self-effacement , servility, deference and submissiveness.
God requires us to be humble to Him and to our fellow men and He honours and elevates the humble.
However , humility to the point of inferiority complex , foolishness; or unwillingness to assert self and one's opinions when it is necessary to do ; is not humility.
Adopting a lethargic approach to making efforts to achieve anything in Life ; is unacceptable as it is self-defeatist.
" And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight ".

When you are the one who is expected to be "humble" and accept the crumbs and left-overs by other persons , even by those on the same level with you; then you should not think it is "humility " to accept such a situation.
It is pseudo " humility " to allow any one to impose on you any form of Godless authority which is contrary to the Word of God.
Also , it is not "humility" to allow anyone , however highly placed , to despise the anointing of God upon you , or to attempt to prevent you from functioning in your God-ordained ministry to the glory of God.
"And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority? " Matthew 21 : 23.
It is the will of God that His glory manifest in human lives.
Qualifications for receiving God's glory are not based on the efforts and achievements of any man but on Faith in Jesus Christ.

The glory of God which He bestows on every believer in Jesus Christ does not wither , but endures forever .

The heart , or the mind and soul of a human being is where the issues of life are formed .
It is where decisions are made and where the Root Causes of Spiritual problems such as the Rebellion against God , Pride of Life , Ignorance and Hypocrisy are based.

Humility and honesty are the key attributes needed by the guilty to hold up his hand , publicly, to accept responsibility for his offences and to ask for forgiveness and for help.

It is your responsibility to take steps towards getting the Solution to your problems.
Labouring under heavy burdens of guilt and problems ?
Admit that your problems and faults, most of the time , are your own making .
After being humble enough to admit guilt, even more humility is needed by the sinner to accept the solution being offered. and to confess that help is needed indeed.
Believe it and accept it that now, today , is the time for you to admit your faults , to confess your sins and to be determined to turn a new leaf , so that you can obtain mercy from God.
"He who covers his transgressions will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes his sins will obtain mercy." Proverbs 28 13.
Earnestly desire God's mercy and accept His mercy and salvation in Jesus Christ today.
The mercy of God encompasses the righteous.
God's Mercy changes lives, gives peace , joy , victory and it makes rich .
After confession and repentance, God gives grace to the humble.1 Peter 5:5b.
The power of God's grace is able to melt down every stony heart and enable strength to forsake sin.
"But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you ".
James 4:6,7.
God's steadfast love and mercy endure forever for the repentant soul .James 4:6,7.
Your own part is to remain steadfast and faithful now you have received a new life of peace and victory , in Jesus Christ.
