Revelations of His Love

"All things are delivered unto me of my Father ;and no man knoweth the Son ,but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father save the Son,and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him " Matthew 11:27.

God desires that His children and the World receive the revelation of Him as the loving and gracious God who cares about Mankind.
God cares about what and who people say He is; about their revelation of who God is.
" Whom do men say that I the Son of man am ?"
"...Thou art the Christ , the Son of the living God"
"Blessed art thou Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood have not revealed it to you , but my Father which is in heaven". Matthew 16:13-17.

The new creation , usually, is eager to learn about God and the requirements of his Faith . Even more so is God eager to reveal Himself to Mankind.
God's Love says " Receive Grace !"; while Sin says , " Receive Death" !
God reveals the blessings of His Love and He exposes the destruction caused by Sin. The choice is Man's and God allows Man's freewill to choose between His Love and Sin.
Some people, throughout their lives would cleave to the assurance of God's love and goodness ; even during times of doubts arising from adversities in their situations.
But sometimes , even for those who have believed , confusion sets into their minds due to misconceptions of God.
Misconceptions, acquired through misinformation about who God is and through ignorance of the Word of God .
Some have misinterpreted Bible passages as confirmation of a vengeful , scowling and unforgiving God ; as a God who has vowed to "nail all sinners"!
God is seen , by the World , as the "blood-thirsty God", who demanded for blood and gore in continuous blood offerings for forgiveness of sin !
Some people ,today, live in constant fear of "this terrible and Holy God who hates and punishes sinners !"
They see God as the unrelenting Avenger who is out to get them!
As in the swift judgement unleashed on Nadab , Abihu ,Korah , Dathan , Abiram, Saul ,Achan , Ananias , Sapphira and a host of others , recorded in the Bible!
Also , many cannot understand how the God whose name is Love, could sanction the massacres of millions of the indigenous peoples of the lands which stood in the way of the Israelites; to fight and defend THEIR land as Israel marched on to the Promised Land !
The World is more likely to see God as THE God who could not forgive Moses' outburst at the Waters of Meribah; even after decades of Moses' meritorious services; rather than seeing Him as the God who forgave David's sin of adultery and murder!
The Truth is, if God went about with a huge sledge hammer looking for sinners to destroy , then no human being would be left standing and alive!
To compound this confusion and ignorance about God is the World's incomprehension of WHY there is so much pain , suffering, injustice and inequalities which abound , everywhere on Earth !
Millions of human beings think the buck for the chaos and suffering in the world stops on God's table !
They blame the omnipotent and omniscient God ; " who has failed to DO SOMETHING to prevent and stop the evils and the sufferings in the world!"
This is the prevalent mind-frame of those who have not received the revelation of God's love.
God reveals His love in His Word , which expresses God's righteousness , His Grace and His Mercy. Jesus Christ is the Word of God.

Evil and great sufferings abound in human lives and in the world ; not because God is unable or unwilling to stop the evils in the world but because Mankind have chosen by their own freewill to reject God's instructions, with impunity!
God is Holy and He does hate Sin but He loves the sinner.
He knows that Sin is poison ; Sin is very unforgiving and destructive !
God knows that a man's sin will, surely,find him out and punish the man just as a serpent would bite whosoever touches and toys with it!
Therefore, because God loves the sinner, He warns against Sin.
God is not seeking whom to punish and destroy for their sins ; but Sin has destruction in store for its customers!
Sin is out to get you and your sin will find you out, somehow,some day. Numbers 32:23.

These misconceptions about God have arisen due to the lack of understanding of the Holy Bible and lack of a personal relationship with God.
Deep-seated ignorance about God would change through PERSONAL knowledge leading to the revelation of who God is .
Deep Knowledge of a person or thing would be acquired , only , by desiring and searching for it.
The power of the Holy Spirit reveals God to the willing soul.
There is power in revelation.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God , they are the sons of God.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry , Abba , Father. Romans 8:14-15.

All through the ages , God the Father has been reaching out for fellowship with not only His children but also ,with the lost World.
God is a loving and good Father ,indeed ! He has not changed .
He warns us, always, against choosing the paths of death and destruction and He guides the obedient and willing soul along the paths of life and peace .
" Now then , my sons, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways.
Listen to my instructions and be wise ; do not ignore it.
Blessed is the man who listens to me ,watching daily at my doors , waiting at my doorway.
For whoever finds me finds life and receives favour from the Lord.
But, whoever fails to find me hates himself ; all who hate me love death". Proverbs 8 :33-36 ( NIV )
