THE A . B. C. OF SALVATION

God, throughout the ages , has presented his salvation plan to men , women and even children in diverse ways .
To some , God has appeared and spoken , expressly, to bring about their dramatic conversion or to give them a specific assignment.
APOSTLE PAUL:
And I said Lord, Who art thou Lord? And he said , I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.Acts 26:15

For some people God had sent a man or woman as a preacher or evangelist to deliver the word.
PHILIP TO THE ETHIOPIAN EUNUCH:
Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near , and join thyself to this chariot. Acts 8:29.

Even today ,the Gospel message remains the same; presented to the world through various media and messengers .It remains "old -fashioned", but straightforward , constant and true.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son , that whosoever believeth in him should not perish , but have everlasting life.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God . John 3:16 ,18.

And he said unto them ,Go ye into all the world , and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved ; but he that beliaveth not shall be damned. Mark 16:15,16.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ has to be preached and heard in order to impact lives. It should ring out loud and clear, to the ends of the earth .
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed ? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard ? and how shall they hear without a preacher ? Romans 10:14.

God reaches out to every man; sending his word by his mercy and his grace .
He expects us to reciprocate by embracing the Good News with open hands and open hearts. Not by clenching our fists to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We accept the Gospel by following the ABC STEPS :
ACCEPT that we have sinned and we need a saviour , Jesus Christ;
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus . Romans 3:23,24.

BELIEVE in your heart that Jesus saves , absolutely. There is no salvation elsewhere.
Jesus saith unto him ,I am the way , the truth , and the life : no man cometh unto the Father , but by me. John 14:6

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men,whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12.


CONFESS with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is your Lord and Saviour.
That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10 : 9, 10.

COMMIT to your faith by cultivating your prayer life. Ask the Holy Spirit to enable you ,to guide and strengthen you daily.

CONFIRM your faith to everyone . Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and my words , in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his father and the holy angels. Mark 8:38.

CONTINUE in the faith by joining a Bible-believing church and grow in faith by fellowshipping with other Christians.
