GOD'S SALVATION PLAN

Sin is disobedience of God's law.
Even if and when man tried to break free, he wouldn't know from where to begin to overpower a formidable and unseen enemy.
Grace is the expression of God' love and mercy .The all-seeing and all-powerful God decided to intervene in the situation of imminent destruction for Mankind.

When God intervenes in a matter ,he brings righteousness ,change and solution into that situation .
Man had sinned and the law of God says "The soul that sinneth, it shall die..." Ezekiel 18 :4, 20.
The righteousness of God requires that God's word (law) must be fulfilled by the shedding of blood.

When Satan tempted Eve in the Garden , he knew that disobedience of God's commandment by Adam and Eve was a rejection of God . And that the penalty for this was eternal death coupled with myriads of horrific problems .
Death and chaos; not only for Adam and Eve but for their "seed" i.e. descendants!
As Eve and Adam happily munched on the fruit of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they did so in ignorance.
Satan knew the fish had taken the bait! He must have been smiling to himself and thinking "Got them!".

Adam and Eve sinned in ignorance . But ignorance is no excuse in law.
The sinner's blood was required by God as payment for sin !
No shedding of blood ,no payment ( atonement ) for the penalty of sin .
For the life of the flesh is in the blood.....: for it is the blood that maketh atonement for the soul.

The only way to escape the penalty of the law was for the sinner's life and blood to be substituted by the sacrifice of a Spotless Lamb; to die and pay the penalty for sin.

The Salvation plan of God fulfilled all the requirements of the law.
The Law demanded judgement and death for the sin ; the salvation of God has provided mercy and love by grace.
The righteousness of God was fulfilled by the provision of a spotless , sinless human being who took the sins of the world upon himself .
A sinless substitute to die in place of the sinner.

Jesus Christ is the expression of God's righteousness.
He is the Spotless Lamb of God who took the sins of the world upon himself.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and by his stripes we are healed . Isaiah 53:5.

Jesus Christ has reconciled us to God , by his blood .
Not only has God presented his Salvation plan to us; he has also given us grace to receive his grace which is Jesus Christ his only begotten Son.
And of his fullness have all we received , and grace for grace.
For the law was given by Moses but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 1:16,17.

God gives us grace to do the ABC of salvation:
For it is by his grace that we can begin the race of faith.
In him alone , we can ACCEPT . BELIEVE . CONFESS . CONTINUE.
May his abundant grace work in us always . Amen
