HOW CAN THIS BE ?

The A. B. C. of salvation is what it sets out to be ; simple and attainable to all men.
God presents his love and grace to mankind , through his Son Jesus . Believe that Jesus is THE LAMB OF GOD , who was slain and shed his blood , to atone for the sins of the world. Believe this and live ETERNALLY!

To millions , this offer sounds too easy and too simple to be true.
For many, therein lies the obstacle to their faith in the Word of God and to their conversion .
The natural mind cannot accept the things of God .
Romans 8:7,8, 1 Corinthians 2 : 14.
To walk with God , faith in him is mandatory.
Divine intervention ,grace ,is necessary to enable faith and conversion in the hearts of men.

Whenever someone presents an offer or deal which sounds too good to be true , the natural reaction is to take such an offer with a pinch of salt .
Concerning the Salvation of God , through the sacrifice of Jesus ; many, have wondered " How can this be ?" ,
"Why did God go to all that trouble?" Just to save mankind?"
"How could anybody love all the very wicked and very selfish human beings
who inhabit this earth , enough to die for them ?".
"So what is my business in all this? Did I send Adam and Eve to go eating stuff which they shouldn't eat? It wasn't me. I wasn't there!"

Most adults would balk at the mention of "a loving God , blood sacrifice , sweat , suffering , painful death , heaven , hell" and so on.
To the "reasonable man" such talk is "too far-fetched".
Some "very civilised " persons have declared publicly that "only child-like, un-informed and unintelligent minds would believe the creation story , the virgin birth , death and resurrection in this day and age of great scientific advancement!"

It is quite interesting that in their hour of need , in their time of fear, time of sorrow and on their death beds , persons who have rejected and ridiculed the love of God ,all their lives , usually , request for prayers to be said for them to God ( not to science!).
Almost all of such persons request for a "Christian" burial, in church.
There is a God - given need in every soul which cries out for help to God , its creator, in times of peril!
God is rich in mercy and love and would not turn away any repentant soul. Every man has the chance of accepting the Lord Jesus , while he still has breath in him. But there is no repentance in the grave.

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish , foolishness;
but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
For it is written , I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent .1 Corinthians 1: 18 ,19.

"Us which are saved " are believers by the grace of God.
Grace gives believers a child- like faith which enables men to believe in him and to accept that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Saviour of the world.
This child-like faith enables men to believe in the God who predates and created Science .
To believe in the God who created everything which had existed thousands of millennia before scientists "discovered" and "invented" them!

And he said , Verily I say unto you , Except ye be converted and become as little children ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3-4.

Without faith it is impossible to please to God. Hebrews 11:6
* Pray for humility to live a life of child-like faith in God.
* Pray for the salvation of the souls whom the god of this world has blinded their minds against the Gospel ( 2 Corinthians 4:3,4).
*Pray for your city , nation and the world . Pray for mercy , for divine intervention and cleansing by the blood of the Lamb. Amen .
