POWER FOR CHANGE

Power means strength or force. For power to be effective it has to be applied to create change. As I wrote in my previous blog,"FREE INDEED! ", power can be applied into a person's life to manifest evil or good .
A life under the oppression of Satan, the Evil One , cannot fulfill its God-given destiny.
The Almighty God , Father of mercies,impacts life by intervening with his divine power to manifest positive changes.
This divine intervention is called GRACE.
Grace is God's favour and mercy applied into a situation of helplessness
to bring about deliverance, strength, glory , revival , relief/comfort and assurance.

Grace is given freely and in full measure by God.
Grace is not measured according to how "good", "holy","sinful" or "qualified" a person is.
Human beings prefer to show kindness and favours to "deserving" family members , cronies and friends- usually those in our good books , only .
But God the Father, entends his GRACE to all mankind, even to those who have chosen to wage war against God and his Church!
"He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
Who was before a blasphemer and a persecutor, and injurious:
but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief".1Timothy 1:12,13.

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 (NIV)

The plan of Satan is to keep mankind in the prison of ignorance,weakness and failure , perpetually.
Ignorance causes men to reject God and embrace Satan i.e living a life of sin. Ignorance causes Man to shut the door in God's face!
Weakness and failure cause men to doubt the mercies of God and to reject God.

Grace is invasive. The grace of God invades every prison yard of the enemy and sets the captives free.
The grace of God invades our lives with love and mercy so that the stony heart becomes flesh and so that we can WILLINGLY open every door in our lives which we had shut on God.
WE OPEN THE DOORS SO THAT THE SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS CAN SHINE INTO OUR LIVES WITH HEALING IN HIS WINGS.
Grace is enabling .
Grace enables us to embrace the Salvation Plan of God.
Man's destiny is fulfilled in God's salvation , by grace ; that men might be called trees of righteousness; the planting of the Lord ; that God might be glorified.
